Hey,

Can't get it to work. The server I want to use logs in but makes the client crash because it has too many cards. I have no clue how to reduce the amount of cards (besides playing with the 'prio' file that comes with the package). None of this works for me though. Then I tried making an account on my own server and reduce the cards this way. Now the client doesn't log in.

Help is appreciated!

The server is OK !!

I tested only with Irdeto 2 encrypted channels, thanks for help and to my friend who helped me to test his CCcam server!

I think you are mistaken..._silencer is the author of emubox (see this same section), which is also a cccam client for windows...and I dont think the plugin posted here by you is the same as emubox nor that it was made by silencer. Why would he do 2 similar plugins? Or maybe I didnt understand you correctly?

Can someone clarify for us the difference between silencer's emubox and this new "CCCam ver.1.0.0.1 plugin for Windows CCcam client" ?

Cheers!

Nina

Yes, I'd like to know that, too. Has anyone experience with both?

My impression of emubox is that it is not a Windows CCcam client. It requires VMWare be installed.

"CCCam ver.1.0.0.1 plugin for Windows CCcam client" just has a file named "CCCAM.dll" and nothing in the instructions about installing a Linux emulator.

So....it looks very interesting even if it doesn't work well for now.

Yup its a plugin for windows. No need for linux installation via VMware.
It has been reported that it works with other encryptions like NDS and Nagra3 not only irdeto2 as mentioned above.

emmm...

"Markoni" ask me about emubox so i wrote " ask silincer " .

The different is as Markoni said. for now emubox is more more better by handled all CAID ( exist nagra3 AFAIK ) , more stable , capability to configure cccam.cfg file and choose any version you want .. bla bla bla .

Summary : emubox more dynamic but also more complicated

Well...I had intended to ask about "CCCam ver.1.0.0.1 plugin for Windows CCcam client" and not about emubox, but it's true I didn't specify:

I just assumed that the thread's title would give that part of the question away.

Anyway, I have tried to decompile the ELF's in cccam2.0.11.zip with REC and Boomerang, but got nothing useful out.

First, I'd just like to understand how CCcam works.

Second, with an intelligible CCcam source code, it might be possible to build a Windows-compatible executable - just perhaps not for me.

So, it's really the original CCcam source I'm after.

Thanks for any tips!

By my experience for now,i think mostly irdeto works with CCCam ver.1.0.0.1. Strangely Suppersport 1-5 works, but the rest of the Digitalb package does not. NDS receives ECM only from local cards but doesnt show picture. I didnt had problems with crashes, then again i have really few cards on a test server
