i dont see newcamd525 on cardfile only newcamd...

I am trying to build an HTPC, with some older hardware i had laying around, of course with satellite support and I'm thinking to try "Media Portal".

The question/problem was "how the ....." can i use the/my smartcard so we also see the/some scrambled channels we are paying for. I did some searching on the internet and so i found this post. I hope it will work but we will see in a short time.

I have tried MythTV but some how I'm getting an error, when trying to search for channels, which I can't resolve yet (haven't got to the softcam part). Now going to install "Media Portal" on an different harddisk and see if it can replace the MythTV install.

Thansk for such good app,

there is some delay when i have newcamd in it. i mean when it starts there is some delay before the dvb app can load this plugin.

Verx good plugin, but i have some problems when i share my mtv unlimited card from my dreambox to the pc, i use newcamd protocoll got the connection no problem after 8 sec the channel opens but after 10 sec it freezes.
