Please help - 08-August-2009, 11:39

Hi I use
F: mediacenter okidoki
in my cccam.cfg file on my dreambox
and
[Mediacenter]
Server=CCCam:192.168.1.90:2499:0:mediacenter:okido ki
in the hadu.ini. But it won't connect. What am I doing wrong?
The cccam is running fine on the dreambox.

Please help!

Thanks

Is your CCCam listening on port 2499? (standard is 12000)

I had the same problem and solved it this:

[Serv_Mediacenter]
Server=CCCam:192.168.1.90:12000:0:mediacenter:okidoki

The trick was the missing Serv_.
Use the right port, eg. 12000 as default.

Indeed, it MUST start with Serv_ or it will not work (I made the same mistake).

I have this working pretty well at the moment with 2 tuners and dvbviewer 4.2

there is a lag on channel change on encrypted channels that seems longer than it should be compared to flycccam, but I assume that this is due to early code or even some settings that I have in my config so I will keep my eyes open for new releases as they seem to be coming fast.

My biggest issue is that I am trying to use it with 2 instances... I have 2 installs of dvbviewer on my pc as I am using dvblink to get the streams into a media center pc... I was hoping that I could use the same C line in each instance, but it wont let the 2nd instance log in, so I have needed to create a new F line in my dreambox to let the 2 connect.

I am likely to introduce a new server that is remote but I will only have 1 C line... is there any way to let 2 instances connect to the same c line on the same pc?

I'm not sure 100% but I think double login isn't possible in Ccam even if it's from the same IP address. Only thing to do: get a second C line from your server.
