Hi to all guys
i agree with you about Linux; i wish to use this OS and regarding me i've tested many version like ubuntu, debian, clarkconnect, VDRLive and many other, but regarding CS i need time to study and unfurtly for the moment i'm not able to run CCcam server and also CCcam client. Latest .deb scplugin is very simple but unfartly always need time to study and test this question, i don't like to do my hobbie because some one make all instead of me, i wish to learn by myself........off course with all tutorial that are here in this board.

Some time i think to be a stupid but if i don't make this by my self i will put away my regular xxx card and my old PIII.

Regards

Gianluca

P.S.

Thank You
64bit OS versions are for 64bit CPUs like AMD64 or Intel EM64T (Extended Memory 64 Technology) 64bit are faster than 32bit but u need more ram in 64bit systems.I'm not a linux expert so i prefer Ubuntu Desktop.Server Edition is more difficult i think.

So, I managed to work with older Ubuntu Desktop, kaffeine and sc-plugin, it works, but sometimes when picture is freezing, I see on terminal that cccam is rolling but picture is still frozen. I have all codecs, but should I try with Kubuntu is it more stable?

I think that emubox0.3 is faster and more stable on channel change than sc-plugin or the communication between kaffeine and sc-plugin is not good.My best combo is DVBDream+emubox0.3+andLinux+CCcam2.1.1 with good servers is working just perfect.
Οk guys I prepare a How-To : SkyStar2+WinXP+andLinux+CCcam2.1.1 stay tuned. (its really easy)
Excuse me for my bad English
