Concerning Gbox, please be sure to check your running Gbox instance. With Gbox control you can check if you have connection to other servers. Concerning the Gbox Plugin, myself I don't have any problems at all.

Just make sure that the MDAPI content is in the correct directory. Check the MDAPI log in the MDAPI directory! It may contain an error!

Other thing you may want to try, is the an other Gbox plugin like acamd or dvbsatgbox. I can't tell if they work correctly, I use the Gbox Plugin 1.1 by Mower myself (1.1 supports HDTV channels correctly).

BTW, if you want to thank me. Use the thanks button!

Shalafi - I have this all working now following a clean os install and new setup and using the latest mdapi setup from dvbn.

this does only seem to work with one tuner tho... I have 2 hauppauge nota-hd-s2 cards... even when both are in use I only get 1 folder being created in the md plugins folder.

When I try to watch a 2nd encrypted channel I get an error saying gboxplugin couldnt bind to port... is there any way that I can get this working with gbox on a dual tuner setup or will I have to go back to single tuners?

Thanks

bob

Question question about dvb viewer pro 3940 - 14-July-2008, 01:32

Hello,

I have a question about dvb viewer pro version 3940 in combination with gbox.
I installed the gbox_dvbviewer_pack.zip for dvb viewer version3910.
After installing the gbox pack the program is not working anymore.
Before it was ok.
Is there an another version gbox_dvbviewer_pack for dvb viewer 3940?

Some one experiance with it?

Thans

Thanks for this great tutorial !! i got it 'working' on both of my systems.
However mediaportal's tvservice keeps crashing 50% of the time i launch "My TV"
I got a clean XP install with Mediaportal Rc2, MDAPIFilter Setup version 2.0.12b; and the files from DVBViewer tutorial .
My other system is Vista, experience the same problem.

Does anyone have it working flawlessly with RC2?
Tips anyone?
