at first: Hi to all, I am from Germany and new to all this :)

I have a HDTV PCI card and DVBViewer Pro installed.
At the moment, I am trying to get the basic principles of everything.
Are Gbox, Newcam and CCcam just different protocols and basicly the same? I need ONE of those, not many to get it working, right?

At first I am trying to GET some keys working, as soon as I got this working I will start to share my Sky UK FULL card.
Before starting, I need a free server to test everything. Are there servers where I can get keys without sharing my own card? I would understand if there weren't but it would be bad as I need one to test. Is this board the right to search for a server? Nearly every thread has no answer - Do I just have to post my request or how does this normally go?

That is correct....sort of.
ProgDvb and G box are available for download together. ( use the search button). Its been a long time since i last used a SS2 but from memory you will need a softcam (keys).
The link is correct for your peer hunting as you currently have no card.
You may also use the request card section.
The posts have no answer because all sharing contact is made via PM.

so I am looking for some servers to test my configuration now - What exactly does a thread titled "Strong server looking for strong peers" mean?
A peer is someone sharing his card or someone wanting to get a card from someone else?
Am I a peer looking for a server now? Just want to make sure before posting. By the way, is there any chance to get to a server as a total newbie or can I expect to get no answer without sharing myself, too?
