GBOX on Humax5400 - 21-November-2007, 20:23

This is what is happinig to me.
When I use GBOX V 1.9 on Humax5400 and put all my 15 peers, converting to 850 cards, the program jams when conferming number of cards. Then I start deliting peers to reduce cards one by one, until only 5 peers remain with 630 cards and GBOX works fine. But, I feel unhappy knowing that I have to delite all those peers and it is not fair for them. Meanwhile I than turned to program HTT HUMAX V4 I put all the same 15 peers and everything works fine, but I wish I could solve this problem so that I can again use the GBOX because this program shows you how many cards, which peers are on line and even can contact any peer. there is no gbox 1.9 .... i think u mean gbox control center 1.9 ?

that program is just a shell for gbox , when quoting the gbox version you
should use the real gbox version , not whatever the shell says...

sounds to me like you dont understand the I: and X: lines in cwshare.cfg

with only 5 peers you can only get that many cards if you use high settings
in I: line...

Try lowering the number in the I: line , and then you will not crash gbox ,
as its gbox thats crashing , not the gbox control program...

also you can reduce the number in X: line to lower the amount of cards...

getting cards at distance 5/6 is pointless... lower I: = better gbox

have fun....
