hiya ATTAJ053.....

the R: line can be found in your gbox.cfg file...
open it in notepad and see...

you need ONLY ONE R: line , the one for the port you want to use

this is the details about R: line from my FULL gbox.cfg file...

# RS232 SSSP mode
# x debug messages, 1=on, 0=off
# y com port to use (0=none, 1=com1, 2=com2)
R: { 12 }

as you can see am using humax on com port 2 , with logging enabled
and its working fine.....

goodluck....

hello again ATTAJ053.....

let me repeat summin i said in a previous post....

make sure you find a full distro or you might endup with a gbox.cfg that has
no comments , making setting it up very hard. make sure the gbox.cfg you use
has all the extra comments then all you have to do is read them .

hiya again.......

Hi my frien i did exactly what u sais but i am experiencing this error. my ip 000.000.000.000 id (5af3) XXXXX.dnsalias.org, we are offline error in cwshare. What do you think

errrr..... ip 0.0.0.0 ??? ...huuum.... u sure you have setup a dyn dns account...?
and are you sure you know how to work your router...?

that error comes only in a few cases....

1. you have no idea how to handle network connections in router and see the local ip of your pc on the network

2. you have made a mistake in cwshare.cfg

3. you have made a mistake in gbox.cfg

4. you havent setup a dyndns account

i reckon its either the first one or maybe the last.. cant say from here.....
goodluck...

hi again.... glad u fixed it .... i knew summin wasnt right with your dns..
the 0.0.0.0 was a bit of a giveaway.....lol..

next problem : nagravision....

listen carefully.... nagravision original cards will NOT work in a humax , the
reason for this is very simple...

the humax comes fitted with an irdeto cam , which with a little help from hot team can handle many encryptions... however this does NOT mean you can put a nagravision card in your hummy and it will work , it WONT , the way
the humax handles multi encryptions is by using a system known as Xin1

if you go to any scrambled nagra channels using your humax , you will see that
all nagravision chanels on humax are meant to be on caid 1800 or 1801
none of the original nagra cards have this caid.... only MOSC / DAYTONA /CEREBO and other fake cards have this caid...(u need one of these)

basically i would need more info to be able to tell you exactly which card you
need , (different cards for different nagra systems what works for d+ wont work for premiere)

basically , you have arrived at a complex subject my friend....
i hope you have learned enough , you will need a lot of knowledge to get a
humax to work 100% with gbox....

hi svenni.

the answer is no , for this to be possible the humax SSSP protocol would have
to support ATR (answer to reset) and COCO strings... and it doesnt..

the only way you can share a card on gbox+humax is to use a phoenix
interface plugged into your rs232 port , that will work just fine as gbox does
support reading a card on pc using a phoenix interface..

goodluck...
