New Humax Sharing Solution...Need Help Plz - 03-November-2006, 22:40

Hello Humax Users , i need a little help with some testing.
i have written a new cardsharing solution for humax 5400 with hot cam 7.5+
it currently implements HSIC sharing similar to HSIC.300 but easier to use and
understand , it also currently implements full keybin editing from same app.
and also supports full humax remote control functions again fully integrated
into same app , it was written in .net platform therefore it has superior memory
management and garbage collection and is guaranteed to crash much less or not at all (unlike some keybin editors i know).

my problem is this : i work alone and have no connections with whom i can test
the cardsharing functionality , i need help from humax / dm users with a variety
of cam versions , especially newcamd and camd3 as these protocols should be easy to implement (i have newcamd source just need to port to .net framework)

if you want to give something back to cardsharing developers then contact me
your help will be appreciated (i only need to test a few times , no need for ongoing access to anybody`s server)

also it doesnt matter what cards you have or what providers since this is purely a test , it makes no difference to me ,i just want to know that my udp / tcp routines work .

thanks in advance

ProNet ( alias GlobalCam / Nucleus )

Hello pronet

Thank you very much for your explications, but I have still some troubles with the sharing. When my friend is connecting him, also on WSP, one of the two clients is going down. So I can share my card only with one person at the same time. Why? We use NewCS1.17RC10 as Server on a Windows XP machine. As client we want use two or more Humax5400 with WSP and serial Com cable. We use the same WSP and Humax configuration as you mentioned above. Please help!!!

Thank you Sergebal
