CentOS 5.4 server with 6 RS232 com port

Hello everybody

I have some trouble with my linux server.
Actualy the computer had no com port on motherboard and not enable on bios. But he had 1 PCI SUNIX with 2 com port and 1 PCI SUNIX with 4 com port.
total of 6 com port, to enable this on centos, I add "8250.nr_uarts=6" on bootparam.

dmesg | grep ttyS show really 6 com port BUT cccam doesn't initialize card on com3 and com4 of the SUNIX 4 port.
I don't know what to do and ask for some help.

did you try it with ubuntu? centos and fedora core gave me quite some trouble with usb and rs232...on ubuntu they work perfectly.

not yet but i tried with debian 5.0 and it doesn't work. So i don't thinks it will be better with ubuntu :-{

ok so i found the solution,

This card is really bad ! i had to set with setserial the baud_base to 96xxx instead of 115200 but only on com3 and com4.
The com1 and com2 work only with baud_base at 115200
