vinnieboy,
Your writing is not in spirit of CS-Idea, not at all. Really strange what diference could be between the people gathered among the common idea. Dont you really can devide the things you are writing about.
I am puzzled, what I red in this forum from diferent people.
Go ahead clean your server and enjoy allone your self.

Dear Marinja,
First of all...what you say is your opinion... and thank god in this world we all have a right to our opinion.

Now my opinion;
If people i PM and ask to share with me say they have good card, i expect to get a good card. If people i connect to say they are online 24/7, i expect that also. I allways ask people for 24/7 online stats.

Now what if i would share with you, promising 4 locals, and having only INXTC or something, being online only once every 10 days, and every ecm i send gets to the destination to late because i have ping of 800ms or something.

When, like me, trying to build good server with happy clients and trying to get good cards, i dont think it is very fair if i demand from 1 person to have good card and from other to just get ecm from me and not sharing.....

So, in conclusion... perhaps you have an point in what you say, but from my point of view i dont think it is to unfair.

Hi Vinnieboy

I totally agree with you, in this forum, the basic principle of cs is the availlability of the clients and servers, eveything is free. The minimum requirement is for people to be online, besides wether you own a DM7020 /DM500/DM600/Dm7000 or a Linux based system as a server, there is no reason to be offline frequently (unless you want to save in electricty bill...). Just leave the dam machine on /online and let's other people enjoy stable connection...

Cheers

You are right Vinnieboy. When I see Peer offline in red it puts me off. I have to send them PM couple off times and still dont get any response.

When we start a thread stating clearly that only 24/7 peers needed, still they will ignore that.

There is no other option then to delete them.

It makes good practice if when removing a peer, that you contact them and inform them that you are removing their line(s).
It only stops your box getting attacks (which it will if their box tries to contact your box) it also creates a more stable server for you and therefore the people that you share with.
This thread is now Closed.
