to all my peers,

since this sunday i have random internet disconnects.

some times only a couple minutes but also longer as discovered today, very annoying.
if this happens the adsl sync light flashes indicating that there is a problem on the bt line. but as you guess, according my isp there isn't anything wrong with the line! sure so only god knows why i have those disconnects...

hope that this will be fixed very soon.

sorry for this but it's out of my control.

LLU Broadband Connectivity (47592) - NEW
Our network engineers are currently investigating a problem that caused broadband customers provisioned on our LLU platform to become disconnected from the Internet shortly after 4:00pm this afternoon. These customers may also be experiencing difficulties reconnecting to the Internet.

Initial investigations suggest that the primary interface on the gateway that serves our LLU customers has become unresponsive. We suspect this may be due to a damaged or broken fibre cable or a problem across our LLU wholesaler's network.

We have raised a case with our suppliers who are currently investigating. In the meantime we have performed a fail-over to a secondary link and customers should be able to start reconnecting to the Internet.

Any customers still having problems connecting are advised to power down their equipment for 30 minutes before attempting to reconnect.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Customers can find out if they are provisioned on our LLU platform by checking the gateway they are connected to. LLU customers currently connect to our network via the gateway known as thn-ag2:-

LLU Broadband Connectivity (47592) - UPDATE
This is an update to the previously reported problems affecting broadband customers provisioned on our LLU platform. A copy of the original announcement can be seen here:-

Customers connecting on the secondary link that has been brought into service to resolve this problem will be temporarily routed through the gateway known as thn-ag3 until the root cause of the problem is identified.

Our LLU supplier has acknowledged the existence of a core switch failure on their network and are working to restore service.
