Angry Complete server crash. - 28-May-2009, 14:05

My server was attacked over 200 times in this last 2 days from the web.
My CCcam has completely crashed and stopped working.
I must completely rebuild my server, as from today a backup server is in place.
This evening I will be sending out pm's with new c-lines for everyone.

Whom ever it is they are using proxy servers all over the world.
When I reverse traverse or ping them to get more info they change proxy server instantly.
My firewall log is full everyday..

My only option is to change dns and port and change it often.
As from today I am adopting a new 1 month dns change and port change.

Set your Router's Firewall On for games & apps. That can reduce attacks!

Use a higher Port for CCcam and good luck

That's interesting. I myself can do nothing malicious through my server listen port.

You can hide the server listen port almost entirely. I have.

What really annoys me is browsing to servers of people to whom I've given lines and finding my host in clear text on their servers or being able to download files, execute commands, etc.

This should probably be in a different thread, but I think being that loose with one's setup should be a warning/banning offense and put one in the bad peers list.

agreed..I'm totally feed up being able to see my data via my peers in plain view for all..
I am now deleting those with bad security.
