Godzilla - No Reshare - 31-August-2009, 15:00

Dear all,

I will no longer offer reshare. Due to the widespread growth of payservers and finding out that my card is sometimes used to reshare for payserver means.

I am falling out of love with the whole card share. To me its a hobby, for personal use and educational and it sickens me to see gangsters taking advantage.

Even if I had 100 peers and 1 of them are using my card for MONEY then this is too much for me.

I in turn do not require any reshare. If you wish to disconnect from me I understand.

Regards,

Godzilla

How sad Godzilla.

Don't be surprised that I ask you to prove your locals; ECS does not need card fakers...

I do understand you frustration of payservers

But do you realy think this is the way.
Its very simple to find out who is got a payserver.
Is it not better to help finding, report anda destroy them
if you hate them so mutch, that you giving up your interest of sharing ?

I'm Just asking you ...
Maybe you will answer to this insted of those two PM I sent to
you in the past, asking you to be my "trusted" peer

Have a nice day

Don't just throw in the towel dude, sort it out!

The best way I've found is to only take the card shares you need.
There will all be spongers and abusers of this hobby.
Anyone with high ecm usage = ban from server..

Yes well said!

I recently had a peer (who had 1 reshare). And whoever he was sharing with was battering my card all day long, everyday. (2000-3000 ecm/ph). I messaged him and asked him to sort it, or its 'bye bye'. He blocked him and the problem was solved.
Now i dont have many peers, but i try to get to know them and keep in contact, so that in these situations, it can be easily rectified.
As a rule now, i dont accept anyone without a working MSN, to which they are regularly online.

Close the connection for 2 hours to the people who have very high ecm usage towards you. If anyone complains directly tell him your server has problems. If he complains again in the next 20-30 minutes cut his line off. Do it again and again, like 5-6 times a day for a couple days. There; payservers gone.

the good thing: easiest way to fight payservers

the bad thing: you loose the realy good peers, that are using pc servers for fun. and not for making money.

I use linux pc, so need reshare but totally understand what godzilla is saying. Over the last year it has got worst. I've had members from this forum who were connected to my card 24/7.
The hobby is slowing dying because of people wanting to make money out of it.
I for one I'm taking time out and having no more share with anyone. I am lucky I only share with a small number of people and most of those guys I have known on here for a very long time.

the risk is, even without a reshare, you can still share with an peer who is himself a payserver or connected to one.

You can still get caught.

going out and giving no reshare is still a no-sure way of stopping PS blokes. they can simply opt to use the hacked versions and still share your card.

regarding the high ECM, since you have a reshare allowed and your card must be famous (and very fast ECM times) it's but natural that you will get high ECMs.

if you trust your peer, and your internet is not going down... let it be. that's me, anyway.
