Hello:
yes it is sad news as they had some channels not found anywhere.

As for the CSLink simulcasts unless CSLink decides to lease the transponder I highly doubt they will remain on 23.5E. This channels are carried on SAT BG transponders.

Shutdown is scheduled for tonight so we will see soon.

The story with SAT BG has been full of bancrupcies. Originaly called ITV Partner on 16E. They had a series of mishaps. wrong pricing, fragile signal on the oldest transponders and few blackouts. They were going down but managed to sell what was left of the company to TotalTV.

TotalTV took over and basically changed the logo and that was about it. But when they took over I think they realized the actual amount of active customers was way less than what they were seeing in the financials.

Afterwards Total sold to a new company that had a vision to move to a new orbital position and create a really true HD provider. Sounds good on paper, but good quality is never cheap. They made a single package only subscription model that was 2 times the price of the dominant player in the market. It never took off. Losses were mounting, and i think the losses got too big. The company is in depth over 20 milion now. Their customer base is so small that even when they lost major channels (like fox and Nat Geo) nobody even complained anywhere.

that's the story pretty much
