Hello mates,

One more thing, the announcement is a bit confusing, they talk about "TNTSat HD emu and TNTSat card support", so is it working as a full emu without tntsat card, or do they only emu the new card protocol so it's able to work with the cards ?
Yes, you don't need a tntsat card inside the Atlas to work. With this receiver you have the possibility to share even the full emulators it has. Right now, they have on atlas UPC Direct full emu, ORF austria Full emu, SRG swiss full emu and tntsat sd+hd full em. All these you can share them trough radegast protocol. And it working like a charm. With very low response times, around 5 ms. If you insert the tntsat card the times will go up to around 300 ms. The other stunning thing is they also support the seca c+ card for HD channels which also supported only on their box, but not an emu, the card must be present.

thx ryacine for the details, c+/csat hd would indeed be very nice.

Another thing that may be of interest to users only wanting some emu, you could also get their SD model Atlas-E (?) which should have the same emu and cardsharing capabilities as the HD10.
At least the lastest kyng firmware update covers all their models.

The sd model should be cheaper but i couldn't find it anywhere..
And the emu capabilities would have to be confirmed as i didn't actually see it working..

You are welcome eldon,
no the sd model does not have at all the same sharing capabilities. The sd model does not share the emulators at all. This feature has been added to the HD-100 only. The sd model only shares the cards, but it does not support the seca Hd channels, it does not support the Fransat HD cards and it holy has the tntsat emulator.
Bye.

@ryacine
thx again, did you test the atlas sd yourself ?
i have great difficulties getting information for it, so if it's first hand information then i don't need to look any longer..

i'd still have to ask the same question as skymania
i understand the sd model won't tune and "see" hd channels data but could it simply share the tntsat card and handle ecms sent by peers for the tntsat hd channels ?

Anyways for me if the atlas sd can't share its emu then it's quite useless as a tntsat "server"
it's too bad, i don't really understand why they wouldn't let the emu be shared for this model, it has cardsharing, emu and ethernet, same as the hd100..

Isnt it true that the only thing preventing TNTSAT HD to decode, is not having the correct AES key ?

If the atlas firmware can open HD on this card, doesnt this just mean that the AES is extracted and implemented in this FW ?

If that is true.. this AES must be available.. somewhere.

the cristor boxes has the aes keys buy KYNG team don't put them public.. so you need to use their own box CRISTOR... and share it tru Radegast server.

@skymania
have you tried connecting to your atlas using an oscam peer, you would at least get some debug info on the protocol errors.
cccam will not tell you anything about what's going on..

also can you simply telnet to your cristor server & port, just to make sure it's actually answering ?

humm my bonus question, where did you get your hands on an atlas-e ?

(06-July-2013 20:16)
@MasterCHEF

yeah i'd say it's (about) time, but i don't know if anyone cares of has the skills because the hd chans went down (including csat/c+) last year and were apparently still working on cristor but nothing came out of it..

Of course now everything is down, well not c+/csat sd, too many mixed old official receivers in the wild to make an update without causing a riot when half of them break down..
