Linksys WAG160N router problem - 24-April-2009, 09:23

I have the above router, windows vista, a dreambox 500 and Cccam 2.0.11. I have about 10 clients and 10 servers and I have port forwarded dreambox correctly.
I have this problem: Every couple of days and sometimes earlier, all my servers go offline while my clients keep connected. I can connect to my db through the web interface and my internet connection continues to be OK (I can browse the internet with my computer).
Rebooting dm does not solve the problem. The only thing I can do to correct this problem is to reboot my router. This solves the problem temporarily, only to happen again in a couple of days. Upgrading the router's firmware did not help.
Is my router getting overloaded with connections? (but my computer can browse the internet when sharing fails). Is it some mysterious setting in the router? I am out of ideas.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have similar problems with my new linksys modem/router AG241
peers can connect to me, but i can't connect to them. Works sometimes, but stops after a while. seems to me like the 12000 port peers drop out first.

Did you find a solution for your problem?
