Hey good people of Eurocardsharing.com!

I've got alot of question which I would like to share with you. Perhaps somebody could help me with them :)

1) A guy in a trenchcoat whispered to me that on Turksat (7E) there are 2 HD channels that are used by Dutch movie theaters. Does anybody know more about this?

2) Is the Dreambox (I have the 800HD) capable in reconizing which satelite the tuner locked on too?

3) I'm thinking about getting a rotor (disecq 1.2). When it's configured correctly and my dreambox crashes for whatever reason. How do I then reconfigure my dreambox to use the rotor? I'm asking this because the rotor could be at 5E when configuring and could be at 19.2E when it "crashed". If I then reinstall the Dreambox, how do I make sure I don't f&^k up? :)

4) I would like to use the original Dreambox software (experimental), but with CCcam. Can I install CCcam manually and is there a guide?

Thank you for reading and thank you even more for answering :)

Answers for your questions
1. To get channel info on any satellite you like is easy. Do a quick google search for the satellite.
2. The tuner will tell you the frequency information for the channel and also the name of the channel which you are are watching. It will not tell you the name of the satellite. You can use the name of the channel and search the internet to confirm on which satellite you are. Be carefull because most popular channels are transmitted on more than one satellite.
3. You are asking two questions. When the dream box crashes or you loose power, There is no problem when the power returns. The motor can make a reset to home or zero position and go to the correct postition without any problems. This works if the db software is not corrupted. If you will need to make a new image for the db, then you will loose the satellite positions which are stored in the db. There are different ways in which you can reprogramme the satellite positions.
4. My advice is to forget about the original software and install a good working substitue, like nabilosat darkstar. Installing CCcam is very easy when you haveinternet connection.

PS. As you say, I believe we are mostly good poeple, but please next time you ask questions, do'nt put too many in one post. Cheers.
