There won't be a chance with a 1m dish. I need 2m in Venice, I seem to remember someone saying they had Astra 2d in Greece with a 3.5m dish.

Actually, reading this again, you are only asking for 28.5. Did you mean to do that, or did you mean 28.2 also. The BSkyB cluster is 4 sats all together. One of which is tightly focussed over the UK, the others are easier to receive across europe, two more Astra sats and one at 28.5 from Eurobird. There is something about a North beam and a South beam, which I think define Astra 2a and Astra 2B. You may have trouble receiving the North beam too, but nothing a slightly larger dish shouldn't cope with (1.2m).

Gentoo Linux - Nexus-s, Linux VDR - 2 x ATSC HD cards, Hauppauge PVR 500 for analog US Cable, 3 x Hauppauge MVP's running Vomp on VDR, UK TV on IPTV.

Not a single sat dish at the moment. :-(

I moved the thread as we weren't speaking enough Greek.
