what makes you think its the dm7020 causing the problem ?
have you tried to remove the dm7020 and see if it works again ?
also what's the status of accessing youtube? you can't ping the site at all ?

try this:
load dos prompt (start => run => cmd)
and type in ping youtube.com

and see response
if you don't have any, type in
tracert youtube.com
and see where it stops
cheers

Sorry, don't understand.

"Disabled" ? In the wireless section of your router setup
most of the time you can choose which 'services' and or
ports a 'memberlist' (with IP-numbers of your PC's / laptops)
they may use. Then you can ENable a port. Guess port 80 or
8080 is used for internet youtube. Maybe a conflict ?

My experience says; Remember/write down all the ports you
opened and FACTORY reset the router. Then try again. After
that you can put your ports back. Can't think of an other
solution nor what this problem can be.

Greetzz, Peter

if you get a ping response, then its not related to your dm7020
i think its a coincidence: try this:

ping youtube
connect to your router with a rj45
ping again: do you have same ip returned?

i turned the laptop off and picked the kids up from school and after a couple of hours put the laptop on and tried the youtube site again, and lo-and-behold, the site is now OK and i did not try your latest suggestion. but thanks to your help guys.
