paket injection is only used for attacking a WEP network.
for WPA or WPA2 only need the 4way handshake and this you get without any injection. and then you can start a bruteforce or wordlist attack.
you can do that in 2 minutes if the WPA pass is "12345678"

i do this stuff since many years.
you know the beginnings of paket injection? when you have needed two prism2 networkcards on the same time to do that?
i do.

so go to your schoolyard and tell your playmates that you can hack WPA in 2 minutes, but not here.
Hi mate !

I tried many times backtrack for security testing ,but unfortunately I wasn't able to hack any access point using wep or wpa key. Could you please send me or post a clear guidance how to do that ?
Last year I remember that a Russian guy posted a video somewhere and I followed the same steps but without results.

cheers!

Hi guys !

I have in my home two linksys wireless routers bridged to each other and yesterday I changed the encryption system from wpa tkip to wpa2 aes and I noticed the RTT was increase with 5-6ms.
Restored back wap tkip returned the RTT to 1-2ms

Did any body experienced such a problem ?

cheers!

I though WAP could only be cracked using dictionary bruteforce. So if my WPA pass is 25 characters long with random numbers and special characters. ?

Have not read up on the recent techniques this I recall from reading about WPA about 8 months ago etc.

Also for anyone interested in trying it out I recommend browsing through remote exploits forums. ;)
