In UK and just getting in to DVB-S, have been using Mythtv with DVB-T / Freeview for a few years.

Current Setup:
Mythtv server with 4 DVB-T cards, 1T byte raid disk.
Assorted Mythtv frontends
various linux, and windows PCs, nslu2 etc

New (to me) experimental stuff:
Skystar 2 PCI DVB-S card
Twinhan AD-SP400 DVB-S2 CI PCI card
Valid TV-Vlaanderen card + CAM
A mini dish pointed at 19.2E
and ordered a smartreader+

Have a larger Triax dish, vision 9x8 multiswitch and second LNB (for 28.2E), waiting for the time to set it up :-)

Currently have TV-Vlaanderen in CI slot of Twinhan AD-SP400 and viewing with DVB viewer, aiming to learn card sharing to share card over local network and more ;-)

Hope that counts as an introduction.
