Hello fom a complete Newbie - 13-November-2008, 18:07

Hi All, I would like to say hello from a complete newbie based in Wales/Uk

I have a 90cm motorised dish with a TM1500 Ci and Digitalb viewing card.

I have read the forums here and must admit I dont think I'll ever be able to cardshare as i am finding this very difficult to get my head around it all. I am now hopefully receiving my DM600 tomorrow and would like to cardshare however i really dont know where to start.
I have a netgear router with 8 static ip addresses with my ip provider of which 2 are already taken by the network, and router ( although i dont know how to use or allocate these ). I have a pc with windows xp sp2.
I would love to help others and card share however i am tottaly lost on what to do and what to install first so If i can i will share and would also like someone to share with me too. Im not sure what is meant by local etc .

I would like to finish by saying if I have said or posted the wrong thing here then i sincerely apologise and would like the mods to delete if i have offende.
Many thanks for taking the time to read this
