Question Hi from Holland - 12-February-2011, 00:23

hey guys,

I'm a total newbie... didn't know what an LNB was at the beginning of the week.

Ended up spending 1200+ eur on loads of rubbish that the Sat TV shop talked me into. Ended up taking back my "Homecast 8100" but they wouldn't accept it back cos they'd spent an hour or more giving me advice. So i had to pay the guy 65eur for the time he spent with me to take it back.

Now I'm hoping to buy a VU+ Duo tomorrow, I love the retro look. Gonna flash it with an image (not sure which) straight away.

Anyhow, after lots of reading I now know what all the bits and pieces are and I'm looking into this card sharing malarky.

My situation... I'm a Brit living in Holland and I need Sky from the UK. They wont sell it to me cos I'm not a UK resident, even though I'm happy to pay. So... I'm looking for help from someone in the UK willing to let me hop through his/her card.

Not sure how to go about asking for that without breaking some rule or another, so hope I get a reply here from someone.
