Introduction - using an official card (Phoenix?) - 03-September-2008, 13:47

Hi all

I'm a relative newbie (very inexperienced expert :-)) to all this.

I have an old (8 year) satellite set up with 3 quattro lnbs feeding my home, where I've traditionally used simple receivers (e.g., XSAT 360).

Recently I built a HTPC (Core 2 processor on an small board in a Antec Veris - Fusion V2 case, TechniSat SkyStar HD card). I have MyTheatre with vplug running on it.

My question now is how to use my official SSR (Switzerland) card with this setup. Seems to me I need to get some sort of USB Phoenix device, and maybe use WinCSC?

Any advice is appreciated :-)
