BBC Worldwide Channels brings Jonathan Ross to Asia

BBC Worldwide Channels has acquired the final series of the chat show, The Jonathan Ross Show, for BBC Entertainment, to be premiered first and exclusively in India, Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea next month.
Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan and Kim Cattrall are among some of the famous faces that are due to appear on some of the episodes of the show.
Ross’ blend of comedy, celebrity chat and the latest music will premiere under The Jonathan Ross Show on 25 February. The episodes will be shown on BBC Entertainment six weeks after the UK airing.
BBC Worldwide Channels Asia director programming Ryan Shiotani said, “We’re thrilled to be able to take Jonathan Ross’ unique brand of entertainment to our viewers in Asia. I’m sure that the show will prove as popular with the Asian audience as it has in the UK.”
Past guests on the show include Ricky Gervais who has appeared seven times, Ben Stiller, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Jake Gyllenhaal, Noel Gallagher, Sarah Jessica Parker, Daniel Craig, and Robert Downey Jr.
Joining Ross for the first episode of the final series is British actor Ray Winstone of Sexy Beast and The Departed fame. Also in the studio is former Strictly Come Dancing (UK) judge Arlene Phillips, Bafta nominated English comedienne, and Doctor Who (series four) sidekick, Catherine Tate and a live musical performance from Pixie Lott. Alicia Keys.
