Gol TV is officially born Iñaki Ferreras 16-08-2009 On the same day of the approval of the new law allowing payment on Spain's DTT platform, major producer Mediapro-Imagina (operator of the laSexta channel) rushed to announced the birth of its pay-TV project soccer channel, Gol TV. In reality this channel started nearly a year ago ago on pay-TV operators but its main goal was to run on DTT under the payment model. And now the audiovisual holding company has got its wish. Gol TV has already started transmissions on DTT by replacing Mediapro's other digital-terrestrial channel Hogar 10 and during August will be free of cost. After this promotion the channel will cost €14.90 a month. The sports channel broadcasts the matches of the first class Spanish soccer league and also those of the King's Cup and the UEFA Champions’ League.
