Hispasat shareholders will receive a part of a record €11.4 million dividend after the Spanish satellite operator reported a net profit of €29.5m. The company is attributing the 55% increase to a boost in revenues and operational efficiencies in line with current projects.
98.1% of Hispasat’s €74.1m first quarter revenues came from the sale of space segment; €49.8m from Hispasat SA and the remaining €24.3m from its subsiduaries in Brazil.
Consolidated EBITDA as of June 30, 2009 was €60.4m.
