FTV to raise movie investment

Public service broadcaster France Télévisions has announced it will raise its annual cinema investments over the 2009-2012 years by 1.1% to 1.5%.
Subsidiaries France 2 Cinéma and France 3 Cinéma will put €56.90 million in 2009, €57.53 million in 2010, €58.39 million in 2011 and €59.27 million in 2012 into French and European film production.
France Télévisions coproduces more than 50 movies each year. In 2008, this included 13 feature films.
