More HD channels for Middle East By Robert Briel August 31, 2009 Thema, the French company specialising in channel distribution, has announced details of two agreements for the distribution of HD channels to a number of Middle East operators. The pay-TV operator E-Vision has added Luxe.TV HD and Fashion TV HD to its new HD offer available in UEA. Launched in April 2000, E-Vision (Emirates Cable TV & Multimedia), is a subsidiary of the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation. This month, the company also signed an agreement with the operator DU in Dubai for Lux.TV HD and myZen.tv HD. DU is a telco based in Dubai.
