M6 Group revenues heading upward

M6 Group has announced a 9.2% rise in its consolidated revenue for the third quarter compared with the same period of 2008, to reach €296m.

Growth came from multimedia advertising revenues (+2.1%) and from non-advertising revenue (+16.1%). M6 channel’s advertising revenue decrease was less significant at €111.5m (-2.7%) than in the first half of the year (-14%) whereas other advertising revenues kept rising (+31.2%) to reach €24.7m. They were notably boosted by the group’s digital channels including DTT service W9.

In the first nine months of 2009, M6 Group maintained its level of consolidated revenue, totalling €974.4m (-0.6%).
