French Media and Telecom giant Vivendi is reviewing its global group strategy in the coming months with key appointments within the telecom and mediadivisions.
The new taskforce that has been set up to drive Vivendi’s future boundaries follows the departures of SFR’s CEO Franck Esser in March and Vivendi’s chief executive Jean-Bernard Levy in June.

Jean-Yves Charlier has been appointed senior executive VP in charge of Telecoms Activities. Currently CEO of worldwide interactive learning company Promethean, he will also participate in the group’s strategic review.
Vivendi’s supervisory board has also confirmed that the group’s management board is composed of Jean-François Dubos, chairman, and Philippe Capron, chief financial officer.
Stéphane Roussel has been confirmed as chairman and CEO of SFR. Frédéric Crépin, senior VP, head of the Legal Department, has been appointed secretary of Vivendi’s supervisory and management boards. Mathieu Peyceré, VP, Human Resources, has been promoted to executive vice president, Human Resources.
