LG launches Freeview+ and DVD Recorder

LG is launching a new DVD recorder complete with built in hard drive, to go with the Freeview+ tuner, that offers the user a similar service to that which subscribers of Sky+ are currently enjoying.

The LG RHT497H offers the user up to forty Freeview channels with the ability to pause, rewind and play live TV.
There is also the option to record programmes and store them on the 160 Gb hard drive.
It is estimated that around four hundred and seventy hours of content can be stored on the hard drive.

Included in with the system is the eight day electronic programme guide which allows the user to pick which programmes to record and watch in advance, making sure that they never miss anything ever again.
