Mediapro bets on 3D TV
Spain's largest television producer, laSexta's backer Mediapro, has begun to push towards 3D technology by producing, managing, distributing and exploiting 3D content in an internal test.
Mediapro’s first tests of this type took place last week in Barcelona, in front of 100 executives from the company. Premium content such as soccer, American football, a U2 concert, ads and TV series were successfully shown.
Commercial distribution of 3D TV by the producer is still to be decided.
