Belgesel TRT documentary channel, which belongs to the Turkish public broadcaster Trkiye Radyo Televizyon Kurumu, began broadcasting in English. A few days before the media realized from the orbital positions 13E, 7E, and 42E, the sender left the additional soundtrack. Currently, the station program selections are available not only in Turkish, but also in English.

Belgesel TRT was created to promote the world of Turkish heritage. First run media with 13E at the beginning of July. And now to start broadcasting the selected items in English, is the next stage in building a strong position in the world. Belgesel TRT schedule, which includes many documents, reports and current affairs programs on Turkish culture, history, art, tourism, and the themes of society, science, nature and environmental protection. The channel was launched 17 October 2009. Originally broadcast under the name Turizm ve Belgesel TRT (TRT Tourism and Document).
