Premiere for the Italian jobs

Premiere CEO Mark Williams has moved to bolster the German pay-TV platforms sales force by bringing in three executives from his former employer Sky Italia.
Giovanni Brunelli has been appointed senior vice president customer operations. He had been at Sky Italia since its launch in 2003 and had been responsible for numerous projects, particularly those in sales, customer service and management reporting, he was also director of premium services and pay-per-view.

Marcello Maggioni joins Premiere as senior vice president sales and marketing. Maggioni spent four years at Sky Italia, first as head of customer acquisition marketing, and later as marketing director. Before Sky Italia, Maggioni was sweet on Mars inc, as marketing director for Italy and then European brand leader.
Industry veteran Gaetano Pannito has been appointed vice president sales. He spent five years with Sky Italia, first as head of sales operations and then as head of customer marketing. Prior to Sky Italia he worked for both Telepi and Stream, the two companies that merged to form Sky Italia in 2003, serving on both sales and CRM roles. In total Pannito has spent 15 years in the pay-TV business.

Our immediate focus is to improve both customer satisfaction and our rate of new customer acquisition, said Mark Williams, CEO, Premiere AG. These appointments take advantage of the specific expertise and experience of these executives to achieve those objectives.
Carsten Schmidt, chief sports and new business officer at Premiere, will assume additional responsibility for Media Sales.
