Liberty Global’s operation in Slovenia is reported to be up for sale.
According to Trading Markets, UPC Telemach has confirmed that negotiations are under way for a change of owner.
It also cites Fund Mid Europa, which has earmarked €130-150 million for an acquisition, as a potential buyer.
UPC Telemach traces its roots back to 199 and has been owned by Liberty Global since 2004.
One of the smallest operations in Liberty Global’s CEE portfolio, it had 147,200 analogue and 10,000 digital subscribers as of Q4 2008.
