Ane when his wife Virginia and supposedly dead father turn up, she learns what may be the truth behind his behaviour. Or are they telling the entire truth and are there deeper reasons for his strangeness? Veteran director Henry Hathaway's Arthurian adventure is based on the popular newspaper cartoon strip by Hal Foster.
