Prima Fila Schedule

October 18 to October 25

A Thousand Words

Starring Eddie Murphy, Kerry Washington, Cliff Curtis, Clark Duke and Allison Janney.
Jack McCall (Eddie Murphy) is a literary agent who has a way with words, often using them to get what he wants, even if it means stretching the truth a little. To teach him a lesson, a spiritual guru grants Jack a thousand words to use however he wishes. But Jack will have to choose his words wisely because when they run out, so will his life.

The Dictator (Il Dittatore)

Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley and Jason Mantzoukas.
Admiral General Shabazz Aladeen (Sacha Baron Cohen) is the fiercest dictator in all of North Africa, ruling the great Republic of Wadiya and risking his life to ensure that democracy never reaches the nation he so lovingly oppressed. However, he faces the ultimate culture clash when he decides to pay a visit to the United States. The film lifts actual newscasts from real-life world leaders and is inspired by the bestselling novel Zabibah and The King, written by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Higher Ground

Starring Vera Farmiga, Donna Murphy, Bill Irwin, Dagmara Dominczyk and John Hawkes.
A frustrated young mother turns to a fundamentalist community for answers, but after years of dogma and loss, she must find the courage to ask the questions that will help her reclaim her life.

Starring Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Asa Butterfield, Chlo Grace Moretz, Ray Winstone, Emily Mortimer, Christopher Lee, Helen McCrory, Michael Stuhlbarg, Frances de la Tour and Jude Law.
Hugo Cabret (Asa Butterfield), an orphan boy living in the walls of a Paris train station, meets a girl (Chlo Moretz) who possesses the key to a machine left behind by the father he recently lost. With her help, he searches for the answer to a mystery linking a bitter old toy shop owner, a hidden message from his dead father and a mechanical man.

The Lincoln Lawyer

Starring Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei, Ryan Phillippe, Josh Lucas, John Leguizamo, Michael Pea, Bob Gunton, Frances Fisher, Bryan Cranston, William H. Macy and Trace Adkins.
Mickey Haller (Matthew McConaughey) is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln sedan. Haller has spent most of his career defending garden-variety criminals, until he lands the case of his career: defending Louis Roulet (Ryan Phillippe), a Beverly Hills playboy accused of rape and attempted murder. But the seemingly straightforward case suddenly develops into a deadly game of survival for Haller.

Men In Black 3

Starring Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Jemaine Clement, Michael Stuhlbarg, Alice Eve, Bill Hader, David Rasche, Emma Thompson and Nicole Scherzinger.
Agent J (Will Smith) and Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) are assigned the task of monitoring extra-terrestrial activity on Earth. Things get strange when J can't find K, then finds out his friend has been dead for over 40 years. In an attempt to save young Agent K's (Josh Brolin) life, Agent J travels back in time to 1969 to stop his murder.

One For The Money

Starring Katherine Heigl, Jason O'Mara, Daniel Sunjata, John Leguizamo, Sherri Shepherd and Debbie Reynolds.
Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl) is a proud city girl with plenty of attitude. She's also newly-divorced with no prospective employment. The only way for her to turn things around is to accept a job at her sleazy cousin's bail bonding company, just long enough to make some fast cash. Her first assignment? Former vice cop and murder suspect Joe Morelli (Jason O'Mara), the same Joe Morelli who broke her heart in high school. Stephanie thinks she's hit the jackpot - not only will catching him be the sweet revenge she's been waiting for but she'll also get a hefty pay cheque out of it. As she learns the ropes of what it takes to be a recovery agent, she also realizes that her new job might not be as easy as she planned.

Think Like A Man

Single mother Candace (Regina Hall) also takes a look at the book and decides to make changes in her life. She shares Harvey's advice with her best friend, Lauren (Taraji P. Henson), a successful businesswoman who has set her standards so high no one can meet them. When the men who come into their lives realize they've been betrayed by a fellow man, they get together to use the book's insider information to turn the tables on the women.

Starring Nicolas Cage, Nicole Kidman, Cam Gigandet, Liana Liberato and Ben Mendelsohn.
Kyle (Nicolas Cage), a real estate agent, lives in an isolated, museum-like mansion with his wife Sarah (Nicole Kidman) and their adolescent daughter Avery (Liana Liberato). A single dad (Matt Damon) decides his family needs a fresh start, so he and his two children move to the most unlikely of places: a zoo. With the help of an eclectic staff, and with many misadventures along the way, the family works to return the dilapidated zoo to its former wonder and glory.
