Big City

Aux confins de l'Ouest américain, dans la petite ville de Big City, les enfants se retrouvent seuls alors que leurs parents sont partis défendre un convoi. Dans l'Ouest américain, le village isolé de Big City attend l'arrivée d'un convoi amenant de nouveaux immigrants sur place. Comme la caravane tarde à venir, tous les adultes des environs partent à sa rescousse. Le lendemain matin, les enfants de Big City découvrent qu'ils sont désormais seuls au milieu de ce monde hostile. Seuls adultes encore présents : le vieux Tyler, alcoolique notoire, et le fou du village. Le premier est nommé shérif, le second devient juge de paix. De leur côté, les orphelins reprennent alors la place occupée, il y a peu, par leurs parents respectifs. Or, des enfants indiens ne tardent pas à montrer le bout de leurs plumes.
