.00pm Salome (PG) 1953 Legendary screen siren Rita Hayworth stars in the title role as Princess Salome of Galilee who is forced to flee the clutches of her cruel stepfather after falling in love with a Christian and failing to save the life of John the Baptist. Star-studded epic loosely based on the biblical story, starring Charles Laughton, Cedric Hardwicke, Stewart Granger and Judith Anderson (888)

.05pm Radioland Murders (PG) 1994 An American radio station is plagued by a series of unexplained murders, prompting the chief producer and her estranged husband to get to the bottom of events. Spoof Thirties caper, with Mary Stuart Masterson, Brian Benben, Ned Beatty and George Burns. Directed by Mel Smith and adapted from a story by George Lucas

.10pm Crash Dive (PG) 1943 Romantic wartime drama, starring Anne Baxter as a woman whose charms cause friction between a submarine lieutenant and his commander, who both fall for her. Tyrone Power and Dana Andrews star as the love-struck pair, alongside May Whitty and Harry Morgan (888)

.20pm Addams Family Values (PG) 1993 Black comedy sequel to the 1991 smash-hit movie, based on the Sixties TV series. Morticia and Gomez (Anjelica Huston and Raul Julia) make the mistake of hiring a new nanny to protect the latest addition to the weirdest family in town from his sinister siblings but the seemingly perfect childcarer turns out to be serial killer. Co-starring Christopher Lloyd, Christina Ricci and Joan Cusack (888)

.00pm Apocalypse Now (18) 1979 Francis Ford Coppola's superb and highly acclaimed Vietnam War epic about a world-weary US Army captain (Martin Sheen) assigned to penetrate deepest Cambodia and assassinate an insane renegade colonel (Marlon Brando, in a powerful role). Robert Duvall's performance as surf-crazy Kilgore is stunning, and even after repeated viewings, this remains one of the best war movies in history. Frederic Forrest, Sam Bottoms, Dennis Hopper and a young Laurence Fishburne also star, with a cameo by Harrison Ford. Harrowing, but unmissable and compelling stuff (888)

.55pm Taxi (12) 2004 A hapless cop is forced to turn to cabs to get around after losing his driving licence and soon forms an alliance with a daring taxi driver, who ends up helping him to track down a team of bold bank robbers. 1.45am Holy Smoke (18) 1999 An Australian woman embraces the teachings of a guru during a trip to India, and becomes a fully fledged follower. Fearing she has been brainwashed, her family hire a cult specialist to deprogramme her but it soon becomes apparent the expert needs more help than his patient. Intelligent and often surreal satirical drama, directed by Jane Campion and starring Kate Winslet, Harvey Keitel, Julie Hamilton, Sophie Lee and Daniel Wyllie (888)
