disconnected clients - 04-February-2010, 21:13

hi guys,3 times this week i have found out that my clients cant connect to me..for some reason they are losing connection to me.I am still connected to them no problem..
to solve the problem i have to update my dyndns on my laptop.any idea what the problem could be..im running cccam 213 with sky white..

You have problems with your dyndns m8.

Seems like your IP adress gets changed, without your dyndns account being updated with the new IP.

hi dyndns updater is on...any ideas

ok just noticed that my router crashed and everyone was disconnected..i presume this is now the what has been happening..the question is why?

well, having the same ... probably eircom doing mess (upgrading) in exchange :) check here http://broadbandsupport.eircom.net/S...10452&branch=4,
check urs routers ddns settings and firmware update as well

Well,i was having this problem too,and i tried everything apart from the router itself.
Updated router firmware,changed server to dreambox,changed image on dreambox,fresh install of everything.
In the end,i got an old router out of the loft and guess what?!Working like a charm now.

So,i suggest u try a different router,or could also be a problem with your broadband.

downloaded latest firmware for router and just playing a waiting game now..if happens again i will go get new router...
