My question would it be possible to use the loop out function on the S10 to feed into my existing Sly HD box? My dish has 2 lnb's to allow record one and watch the other. I intend on a temp basis keeping basic Sly to use the functions of the HD box for recording and I can then watch a second channel via the Openbox S10 using the appropriate keys.

I was going to just plunge for the S10 only and then look at another box later. However, If i keep the Sly box I can make use of its recording function.

Later on I can remove the Sly box and get myself a twin tuner. As this is new to me I want to do one step at a time. I also have an optical input into my Samsung Surround Sound system, which links from Sly box.

As the S10 doesn't have an optical output I am unsure what sound I will get from it.

Is this lot possible? I realise I will need to switch between the S10 and Sly HDMI outputs, but have a cheapo box ready for that.
