Hi, use telnet or putty.exe to log into your eagle, you will be asked for a user logon type 'root' then <enter>

user: root

for the password if you have not changed it already type 'eagle' and then <enter>
-while typing the password the cursor will not move-

password: eagle

to change the password type 'passwd' and then <enter>

you will be asked to enter the new password twice.

I hope this helps.

Below are the ports that are open on your Eagle.

Port Scan has started ...

Port Scanning host: 192.168.1.104

Open TCP Port: 21 ftp
Open TCP Port: 23 telnet
Open TCP Port: 80 http
Open TCP Port: 12000 entextxid
Open TCP Port: 12405
Open TCP Port: 16000
Open TCP Port: 16001
Open TCP Port: 31335
Open TCP Port: 31338
Open TCP Port: 31339
Open TCP Port: 31340
Open TCP Port: 31342
Open TCP Port: 31343
Port Scan has completed ...

So if you have these ports open on your router then it is possible but very unlikely that your Eagle can be accessed by others.

As ports 21 and 23 are ports that allow you to upload files to your Eagle these are easily protected by allowing only the ports for the cccam to be forwarded to your Eagle. This will not effect your access to your Eagle from a PC behind your router (ie. on your home network).

And changing your password every now and again is always a good idea.
