Eagle With Cccam how to edit config file - 03-March-2009, 15:25

Hi all, Newbie here. just managed to get an Eagle set up with Cccam and now ready to start sharing. Have read the tutorials etc and understand that I need to add C lines & F lines to the Cccam config file. What is the best software (Windows Vista) to use for editing the config file on the Eagle? Any advice on setting up the eagle further and where to go to get C lines would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi mate, You need an ftp program I recommend CuteFTP.

If you need some C-Lines have you got a local card in your box? If so use the local section if not use the free section.

• Go to blue panel by pressing blue button on remote
• Go to Addons. In there you will see download catagories which contain cam and cam-config
• First go to cam and install cccam 2.09 or latest Version
• Then from cam-config install cccam-config 2.09 or latest
• From blue panel go to top of panel and use left/right buttons to scroll to CCcam 2.09
• Now press the Green button to start CCcam
• Use an FTP program and editor to connect to your Eagle Box and navigate to the var Folder then etc A suitable editor is DCC
• In here you will find a file called CCcam.cfg. You must now edit this file
• In CCcam.cfg you must add the C: line that you Have
• Save the changes to CCcam.cfg and enjoy!
