Does the S9 save in the same format as the S10? Not got a box yet but have downloaded and read the manual. It saves the records in th *.TS format, which I assume is a proprietary format. On the surround sound system I have when you go into the hard drive it shows up with a file menu system. Are the *.TS files not in there?

This is the same way as my media streamer, so I wonder if you can read backwards something you have recorded?

sounds about right that. When I run Mediaplayer with external drive thats what I have to do. Have you tried that and then play?
