Advance question in CCCAM expert are welcome to answer - 16-January-2010, 07:31

I have a card which have 2 securities one is Conex & 2ndone is Seca-1 my CCCAM 2.1.2 automatically read Conax because card is mailny based on conex & seca as 2nd security. problem is that few channels are completely on Seca & few on Conax completely. Can someone through some light on this issue that 1st CCCAM read Conax & after few seconds it also read Seca-1. I think there is some game of sleep function in it but how to use it. Any idea in this regard will be appreciated

To David Tan

Conax and seca cant be in one card, because they 2 are competitors. I think you need separate cards one as conax and another as seca and they 2 will open the whole packet of yours then. If your go to the channel what dont open with conax and only from seca, then CCcam will open that channel from seca card automaticly.

No my dear you are wrong here. I have a card of Dish TV India on 95 east which is having two securities in it Conex as well as Seca-1. Some channels purely on Conex & some channels on Seca-1. as I mention above Card is maily of type conex which mean every time when any cam detect it, it detect it as CONEX & do not read Seca-1 @ all. I seen some members running both securities channels purely in CCCAM, I notice only one thing in CCCAM that is it shows providers in a line individually in vertical line colum in PHPCCCAMINFO which are similar as we see in Redgast but in Redgast only difference is that they are in horizontal direction. Anyone if have some idea how can we make individual providers of each channel in CCCAM?

You're sure that your ccca.cfg is realy good? It have corect settings?
Existing in cfg this lines: "try other child" and "load balance?"
This is my opinion.

Good luck!

You can play also with cccam.prio file by giving priority to the system to be decrypted first so in your case Cccam will try to read first ‘Seca’.

Question CCcam dm8000 card clock speed ? - 08-October-2010, 12:02

Hello , I noticed that on dm8000 (gues 800 as well) that the card's clock speed does not change at all when using

SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 (or 1) 6000000 or other standard clock speed. But card seems to run at basic 3570000 (3.57MHz) always.
This for 0e 1.5 or oe 1.6 the same.

Wathever speed i set (from the standards off course) no changes in ecm time.
With dm 7020 it work's perfect.

When using newcs (1.67) as card server togheter with CCcam, it does respond in dm8000.

When starting the CCcam trough telnet in debug mode can be see that the speed is set to the asked one into CCcam.cfg, but in practice nothing changes.

is ther not a way on the dream to set clock speeds from sci reader to another before starting CCcam ?

The CCcam I use is 2.1.3 or 2.1.4

Last edited by stefansp; 08-October-2010 at 13:39.. Reason: wrong first cccam version 2.1.3 instead of 2.1.4
