CCcam vdr-opensc camd.socket - 30-March-2011, 18:51

I've got CCcam, VDR and SC working nicely by using a cccam2 line in my cardclient.conf file but I'd like to go down the camd.socket route instead because from what I've read this means that it prevents adding an extra hop giving closer shares for VDR and enabling the use of "No Reshare" shares.

I've managed to get ca.so preloaded and /tmp/camd.socket exists. CCcam is running and connected to CCcam servers.

My cardclient.conf cccam line looks like this :

Code:
cccam:localhost:9000:0/0000/ffff:/tmp/camd.socket
When vdr starts sc loads the line and gives this log...

Code:
Mar 30 16:49:37.453 [general.info] loading cardclient config from /var/lib/vdr/plugins/sc/                                              cardclient.conf
Mar 30 16:49:37.454 [cardclient.core] hostname=localhost port=9000 emm=0 emmCaids 0000/fff                                              f
Mar 30 16:49:37.454 [cardclient.core] cccam: socket=/tmp/camd.socket
Mar 30 16:49:37.454 [cardclient.core] client 'cccam' ready
Mar 30 16:49:37.455 [core.net] socket: binding to 127.0.0.1:9000/udp (127.0.0.1)
Mar 30 16:49:37.455 [cardclient.cccam] Bound to port 9000, starting UDP listener
This looks good, but further down I get

Code:
Mar 30 16:49:37.466 [core.ci] no active CAIDs
Like I said, when using a cccam2 line things work.

Any ideas what I can do to sort this?

Well that was easier than I thought it would be

Code:
cccam:localhost:9000:0/0000/ffff:/tmp/camd.socket
needed to be

Code:
cccam:localhost:9000:0/0000/0000:/tmp/camd.socket

I'm running CCcam 2.0.11

Here's my run.sh script.

Code:
#!/bin/sh
cd /var/bin
LD_PRELOAD=./ca.so ; export LD_PRELOAD
while [ 1 ];
do
chown tv /tmp/.CCcam.nodeid /var/log/CCcam.log
rm /tmp/.CCcam.nodeid
 ./CCcam.x86 -d > /var/log/CCcam.log
done
