help needed - 31-August-2009, 19:54

i keep getting problems with connection betwen cccam and sc plugin in vdr

vdr-sc log looks like

anybody can help me
i`m new to linux so please understand my mayby silly question

the output shows that sc's cardclient.conf is configured to use a local running cccam server.
is it like that? does your cccam run on the same machine as vdr does?

That's correct. He isn't using the ca.so PRELOAD.

@mario_dnb

The ca.so PRELOAD is depreciated and doesn't work correctly. Use the cccam2 client instead, it's fast and more stable.

exactly. i dunno exactly what version cccam2 was implemented (he/she did not mention the version in use) but the recent hg snapshot has it for sure.

i just guess you are using distribution packages since you said you are new to linux.
you might not find cccam2 in common debian packages arround from unofficial repositories for example.
plz everyone, correct me if i am wrong.

cccam2 is not working with CCcam 2.1.3. Can anyone suggest something to fix the problem.

I think cccam2 unable to handle longer ECM length (168 instead of 152 bytes).

So I tried to use ca.c but with tha I am getting
