@FSS, no it's for a full feature card only. There is some work on a patch between vdr-sc and CCcam but I'm not sure of the status of it.

Gentoo Linux - Nexus-s, Linux VDR - 2 x ATSC HD cards, Hauppauge PVR 500 for analog US Cable, 3 x Hauppauge MVP's running Vomp on VDR, UK TV on IPTV.

Not a single sat dish at the moment. :-(

hi
we can use this with only full featured dvb card not all of them
for example it will not work with skystar2 or another budget card
it will work with nexus or technotrend 2300

I didnt try this patch with vdr-1.6.0 but you can try the patch for vdr-1.5.0 here.

hi,
if you use vdr-sc, you can forget this patch.
do this:
1:get vdr source and extract it to /usr/local/src/VDR
2: get vdr-sc and extract to /usr/local/src/VDR/PLUGINS/src
3: ln -s sc-0.9* sc
4: cd /usr/local/src/VDR/PLUGINS/src/sc && cat README |less
5: cd /usr/local/src/VDR
6: make && make plugins
7: ./vdr -h

Well this will get you gbox but not CCcam.

CCcam with VDR is a bit of a black art, I got it working once, but only for 10mins before it gave up. I couldn't get the patch above working (it patched and compiled, but didn't decode anything) (WIth a Nexus-s)

hi
this patch must be applied before any other vdr'patches
try to download a clean vdr source and apply the patch
i tried yesterday vdr-1.6.0 with this patch
and works fine
I had to disable the hyperthreading of my processor to get it work
good luck

yes, cccam is not really supported :(
it can work and you get a black screen when you change the channel.
